Open Question: 19 weeks pregnant and have almost everything for the baby already?

a few people made comments to me that its to early to have all the things that i have for the baby. i have the crib, bassinet, bounce chair, baby clothes, stroller and car seat. some of it was given to me and the other things my mom or husband bought at a consignment sale for really cheap. i havent gotten diapers and wipes and that kind of stuff because im having a baby shower and figured that is the stuff people buy you. im less stressed because im not worried the baby will get here and not have anything for him. has anyone else gotten stuff early is it really that weird?

8 months pregnant and starting to get the baby products! What is the best diaper brand you have used? Price, and quality. Also what are some good brands for a good blanket that your babies loved! Also, were looking for a black crib. Any places you know that might have them cheap? Thank you<3!

Open Question: toddler crys and screams at bed time unless someone stays in her room with her?

I have an 18 month old daughter who needs to sleep in her toddler bed. She had been mostly co-sleeping with us, if she did sleep in the crib it was only because we moved her after she fell asleep. We moved her to the toddler bed a few months ago before our second daughter was born. The problem is that she will only stay in the bed if someone is in the room with her. At first, we thought it would just be a transitional thing, but now it seems she depends on it. Usually her night time routine (which is the same every night at the same times and includes bath, milk, teeth, book and bed time at the same time) ends with my husband falling asleep on her bedroom floor. I usually have to stay with the second baby because I'm nursing and my husband is so tired, he falls asleep before she does so ends up just sleeping on the floor. She lies there watching him and is fine until he tries to leave. Even if she is sleeping, the slightest noise or creak in the floor board wakes her up as he leaves and she starts to scream. If he is able to sneak out, she wakes up a couple hours later screaming until someone comes back into the room with her. I have tried just putting her back in the bed without any talking and leaving the room, but she just keeps coming out crying and screaming. If I continue to do this after a while she makes herself sick with all the screaming and vomits. This is so hard on my family and hard on her. She is not getting enough rest at night, is waking up the new baby with her crying, and keeping my husband who works 12 hour shifts from getting his much needed rest. Please help! Two things: #1 It is not because of the new baby. She is a little mother and has never once shown signs of jealousy. She also had a problem with sleeping in her crib and would cry when we left her the same way long before the new baby came. It was just easier then to let her sleep with us. #2 To all those out there who will say we never should have let her co-sleep in the beginning and/or should have dealt with this earlier...no kidding. She's our first and we're learning and now we are trying to move past this. I can't change the past, just the future. Please help!

Open Question: ideas to get my toddlers as a "your a big sister!!" present?

i am due on April 14, & want to get my 2 1/2 year olds something Special. i already got them t-shirts that say "im the big sissy" and a onsie for the baby that says "im the little sissy". but i want to get them something- a special "big girl" toy or something that will get them excited. i want them to know that being a big sister is something special and something to be proud of. something preferably that will take up some of their time so i don't have to run around with them 24/7. here are some of my ideas: -baby dolls, strollers, cribs, carrier/car seats etc. so they can be mommies too (but i dont know if they are too young for that- they have dollies but they are rag-type dolls) -a kitchen set -a playhouse any other ideas?? or do you like one of mine? i want to buy it tomorrow morning because my mom is coming tomorrow night and they would get the toy when the baby is born.

Open Question: I have lots of baby shower questions,i want it to be good so please help me?

This is the first time i ever did this,i only been to two baby showers and that was years ago. I know what the baby is going to need but i dont know what to put on the Registries. My friend doesn't want to do it she wants to be surprised with what she gets so she asked me to do it. So what should i do.I want to do this i just want to know how to do it haha ..Should i put a crib on the list? the only reason i said to register is because i don't want my friend to have to return anything yes it might be rude to put it but its even ruder for two people to buy two things similar and then return the other.Hurt ones person feeling is rude to me not making a list of what to buy.Whatever thanks anyways.

   Item arrived quickly and we love it,I initially think the material is hard to take care but it is not, just wash it and hang dry and it looks beautiful….after using for over 2 months it still looks beautifully good……..great price and great deal for my money. We love it.

   I will definitely buy from it again.

   I ordered this product and it DID arrive promptly, but that’s where the success of this product ends! As everyone knows, you have to wash any clothing or fabric a baby is going to come in contact with in baby-safe detergent. I washed this baby bedding PER THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS and it basically exploded in the wash. The seams came apart spilling stuffing all inside my washing machine. This product is POORLY manufactured! The fabric is not sewn correctly and will probably come apart and shred, as mine did, even for you! I contacted the company to return and was met with BLATANT refusal to stand behind their product and offer ANY customer support. Basically NO RETURN and I’m out over sixty bucks! Luckily I have a seamstress friend who graciously offered to repair my baby’s bedding - noting all the sewing flaws it had - at no charge. I’m filing an injunction with the Better Business Bureau about SOHO Designs and Baby Depot! Awful! Awful! Awful!
